A legacy Application developed in Dos is required to be converted into .Net technology for scalability and efficiency purpose. This two-phase project requiring point of sale system in first and accounting module in the second phase. Code reusability is given strong consideration while making the Application scalable.

A system for connecting and managing consultants and clients. The system consists of three major parts - one small public web site, one extranet part for consultants to manage profile and search for assignments and one administrative part where consultants, clients and the overall system is managed.

The system should be based around an Open Source CMS, preferably Joomla or Drupal - but we are open to recommendations from you on this point - and integrated with that CMS. Therefore we want the development to be done in PHP with an MySQL database.

Overall flow through:

1. Buyer posts bid request. a
2. Bid requests can be public or private.
3. Seller bids on the project.
4. Buyer accepts bid, sends money to us via paypal.
5. Once money is received, seller is notified.

7. If service is acceptable, buyer releases funds.
8. If service is not acceptable, buyer chooses arbitration.
9. Once funds are released, buyers rate sellers, and sellers rate buyers.

All stores will have a virtual feel to give the appearance shoppers are shopping in a store. Store owners can change the wall color, upload their own store logo and add wall paper to make their store look unique. Store owners can upload products and have chats with shoppers. Store owners have the ability to share products with other store members; this increases the chance of selling the products. Member shoppers can become members and shop with discounts, more friends that signup the more discounts they receive. Guest shoppers can search and view products and auction without signing up, to purchase a product or auction product the guest shopper will be presented with a signup page. A Software for a physical and online store which will sell products from different people. This project will consist of three parts, a POS application, an online store, and a modified ERP. The three should be integrated, so that each person can check in the ERP what they have sold in real time, how much is owed to them, after comissions, etc. And the main store owner can check this information too, plus accounting, HR information. We want to base this on OfBiz which already includes a POS, ERP and online store.
