Inspired by their desire to cloth their canines in a style that reflected their own ‘downtown’ aesthetics, Kwigy-bo creators Olivia Ma Corwin and Tenelle Clement began their venture by reworking old tees into trendy dog tees. Encouraged by friend’s and family reaction to their initial line, a stylish line of luxury dog-wear and accessories has grown over the past five years to one of the leading providers of four-legged style for boutiques around the globe.

An NYU graduate with a degree in Art History, Olivia Ma Corwin grew up with a background in fashion and always dreamed of pursuing a career in fashion. Working in the garment industry for 25 years, her family owns knitting factories in Brooklyn as well as China – where Kwigy-bo is manufactured. Tenelle Clement is an FIT graduate with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. Even as a teenager in Klamath Falls, Oregon, Clement knew she had an entrepreneurial spirit. Together as a team, they make up the foundation of the fashion forward brand. Clement’s ingenious edge is responsible for the creative direction of the company, while Corwin’s fashion industry background allows her to readily oversee the company’s daily operations. Both play a major role in designing each collection.
